My Top 5 Beauty Tips

Hey guys! So I just wanna share some beauty and health tips with y’all today! They are mostly all natural and super easy to follow!

1- Drinking enough water

Drinking enough water has literally been my main health goal for the past 6 months. Drinking water gives your skin a beautiful natural and flawless glow, aids in digestion, and helps your brain think a little better. Drinking water also helps you lose weight in a healthy and natural way! I recommend carrying a big bottle of water with you all day long and drinking at least 2 liters a day! I noticed my best results when I was drinking about a gallon a day. Also don’t worry about having to use the bathroom a lot! It will be super annoying the first few days, but eventually your bladder will get used to consuming so much water and you won’t have to go as frequently!

2- Healthy hair

My hair has always been pretty thin, which is fine because that’s the way God made me! However, for a long time I wasn’t taking good care of my hair at all! I was putting heat on it everyday and not treating it at all! If you can, totally cut out putting heat on your hair except for special occasions! I only put heat on my hair probably once a month now, and my hair is a lot healthier and thicker because of it! I used to have longer hair, but it was really damaged and wasn’t growing well. If this is the case for you, I recommend just cutting it because no one wants super thin and dead hair! Try using coconut oil in your hair as well! Everyday before I shower, I distribute it throughout all my hair and leave it in for about 15 minutes! It will make your hair grow a lot faster and be super shiny and healthy! Coconut oil also helps you eyebrows and eyelashes too!

3- Skincare

So for the longest time, I struggled sooooo bad with acne. Like it seriously was awful. I wasn’t washing my face with the right products, and I was using cheap makeup! Right now, my skin isn’t perfect but it’s definitely getting there! For my skin, I just use a bar of ivory soap and a washcloth every morning and every night. That’s it! I never go to bed with any makeup on, and I try really hard to get my face super clean! I personally think that the less products you use on your skin, the better off your skin will be! When I have breakouts I use a little bit of coconut oil on my problem areas, but if you have oily or combination skin, this might not work for you because the coconut oil can make the oil your skin produces worse.

4- Workouts

Working out is a huge part of achieving that healthy lifestyle. I work out every night, even if it’s just 100 crunches and 100 squats. I’ll give you guys my average daily workout routine right below because a lot of people have asked me what I do!

⁃ 100 wide stance squats

⁃ 100 crunches

⁃ 3 minute plank

⁃ 30 donkey kicks ( each side )

⁃ 50 push ups

⁃ 100 jumping jacks

⁃ 50 hip dips

⁃ 25 jump squats

So I know this isn’t a lot, but I think it’s a good workout for keeping you at the same level you’re at and helps you stay in shape! Usually I’ll try to do cardio and stuff, but honestly I hate running in the cold haha! I’d recommend doing at least a mile a day if you’re trying to lose weight! I’ll be changing my workouts soon, because I want to start lifting, so I’ll let you guys know any updates!!

5- Eating Habits

I’d have to say that this is the most important thing for your body other than drinking water. Eating habits effect your beauty and health more than anything else. Honestly, I’ve been eating really bad lately because it’s holiday season and I’ve for sure been seeing negative effects on my body. I’m gonna be bouncing back into things though so I can feel confident in my body again!

For your eating habits, if you’re truly trying to be healthy, I’d recommend cutting out dairy, gluten, and red meats! These things all have super negative effects on your body. I’ve bounced around with veganism a lot the past year, and honestly it’s super hard. However, if you wanna lose weight I’d say try it for 5-7 days. You’ll seriously drop like ten pounds haha. I’m probably going to be going vegan up until Christmas and doing a couple days of water fasting so my body can get all cleansed out!!
