Stress and Feeling Anxious


Hey everyone! So with school coming to a close and exams coming up, all I have been obsessing over is tests and papers. The stress has really been affecting me a lot lately and I’m sure that many of you who read my blog have been going through the same feelings. So today I first of all want to encourage you and give you some tips on surviving the rest of this semester without going insane.

Summer is almost here!! This is the first thing that helps me get through a paper or homework assignment I really don’t want to do. Remember that soon instead of drowning in assignments you will be laying in the sun by the pool getting super tan. Just keep the end goal in mind and you will be able to have some hope that all the stress would end soon!

All your hard work will be worth it! All of the endless hours you spend studying will for sure pay off I promise! When you see all of the A’s you receive on your tests, you will finally be able to just breathe. So keep working, it’ll be worth it.

Remember to take some time to relax. Make some time in your schedule to be able to relax. Read a book, grab some coffee with friends, or take a nap. It’ll help you sooo much and maybe even give you some motivation to keep working on your assignments.

And most importantly… turn to Christ! There are so many verses that talk about stress and anxiety. Pray that God will remind you that He is in control during the busy times of lives. Down below, I am going to list some verses that have helped me during the past few weeks and I hope they will help you too!

John 14:27- Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Psalm 55:22- Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.

Psalm 23:4- Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Philippians 4:6-7- Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Proverbs 3:5-6- Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;  in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Those are just a few verses that are so comforting, and I encourage you to get into your Bibles and find more that help you out!
