My Favorite Faith-Based Books

blog 3

Hey everyone! So today I am going to be talking about my favorite books that have helped grow my faith. I know a lot of people don’t like to read, but I want to encourage you to read this books because they are soooo good! It’s always a good thing to read books that can grow your Christian perspective and see what other people think or portray.

I have always loved to read, so I have found many excellent books I am going to be sharing with y’all today. These books aren’t difficult to read, but they give great messages that will challenge you spiritually. They offer activities and sacrifices that will make you uncomfortable, but if you do them, your life WILL change.

Live Fearless By Sadie Robertson

The first book I am going to be talking about is Live Fearless by Sadie Robertson. Before I read this book, I didn’t think I was a fearful person at all. When I started reading it, I realized that there are A LOT of things I’m scared of. This book was super eye opening and it offered a lot of challenges that grew my faith. If you’re struggling with fear right now, read this book! You won’t regret it! Sadie Robertson is a great example, and she offers some great wisdom that is so helpful! One of the challenges in this book was to wake up an hour early everyday for 90 days to get into the Word of God. I did this challenge, and it was so beneficial for me.

Kisses From Katie By Katie J. Davis

The next book I am going to be talking about is Kisses from Katie. This book is about a girl who graduates high school and enters the mission field in Uganda. Despite having a great life in America; Katie ditches her boyfriend, nice car, and college education for being a disciple of Christ. WARNING! This book isn’t an easy read. It will challenge you and make you rethink everything. It will make you laugh, smile, and cry. This book teaches so much, and it will grow your heart for missions more than you can ever expect.

Cold Tangerines By Shauna Niequist

The next book I’ll be talking about is called Cold Tangerines. Cold Tangerines is basically an autobiography of a woman’s life. This book is pretty lighthearted, and shares all the simple things in life. It is sort of a “feel good” read. It taught me how to appreciate life, and it taught me to find beauty in every situation. This is the perfect book to read by the pool or when you’re tanning on the beach.

So those are just three books that have grown my faith, and if you guys want I am willing to share many more 😊 have a great day, and happy reading!! Comment down below if you have any book recommendations for me!- Cami
